A routine duty turns into a life-threatening act of self-defense for police officer Kappler (49) when, after 30 years in service, he has to use his gun against a person for the first time. Born on December 3rd, 1977 in Reinbek/Germany, Liebrecht started working as an actor and freelance comedy writer while he was a senior. From 2000 he worked as 1st AD for directors Jan Krüger and Horst Königstein and also as reader for German arthouse distributor Prokino. Torben studied film directing at prestigious University of Television and Film Munich where he also attended the advertising and commercials masterclass. “Shattered“ is his thesis film.
