(Narrative, United Kingdom) First loves, reunited after many years, must choose whether to go back together or onwards apart. This is a film about recapturing lost love, following your dreams, responsibility, modern life and cake.

RATING: Intended for Teen Audiences or older (contains some adult language and adult situations)

Director: Warren B. Malone

Warren was born in 1970 in a big maternity hospital in a small place called Orsett, which is in Essex, near but not in, London. His family moved to Coventry in the Midlands for work and that’s where he stayed until he was 18; although he was allowed out for holidays. At school he picked up his first video camera, though he was quickly told to put it down again. At the London School of Economics he avoided having to study anything in particular by reading mostly Philosophy.

When he realised that he wanted to make films, he did a lot of courses (Birkbeck, Panico, City Lit, NFTS) so that he almost felt like he knew what he was doing and has been making films for many years now.
His first narrative short as sole director “Office Party” was shortlisted for the Arri Best Newcomer award at Rushes Soho Shorts and “Forgiving your PE Teacher”, his next short, won Best of British at Encounters International Film Festival. Across the River is his first feature as Director.
