Álvaro Congosto is an independent filmmaker located in the US East Coast. His two latest short films, The Dress and Uncle Phil, have been internationally awarded and screened in dozens of international festivals. Álvaro also teaches Film Production at Boston University. He’s been a Fulbright Grantee and his latest project, The Suitor, a short film settled during Orson Welles’ radio broadcast of The War of the Worlds, has been fully financed through hugely successful crowdfunding campaign.
