Perry Blackshear is a filmmaker from North Carolina. His first feature film They Look Like People played around the world and won awards like the Jury Award at Slamdance, IFF Boston, and Nashville as well as Most Innovative Film at Fantasia. It was released theatrically, then on Netflix. The Rusalka is his second feature and he is currently in post-production on his third. Perry enjoys joy-sobbing to music and friends that are like family.
